Who Are We?
Ghostlight Studios is dedicated to providing hands-on experiences for young people who wish to break into the theatre, film, music, and literature industries. Ghostlight Studios is led by teens and for teens.
What do we do?
We offer hireable services and all of the net profit from that work goes directly into the budget for our original works. All of these projects were written, directed, and produced by teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18.
Our Team
Jacob Gers (Executive Director, Founder)
By day, Jacob Gers is a senior at Weaver Academy for the Performing and Visual Arts as a theatre major. Every other waking second, he works at Well·Spring Retirement & Temple Emanuel in Performance Technology.
He prefers to spend his time working backstage and in production, specializing in sound design and production coordination. He also enjoys writing, directing, stage management, videography, and more.
When outside of the theatre, Jacob is probably watching his tv shows or talking about Broadway.
