GHOSTLIGHT STUDIOS, in conjunction with MOLORI CREATIVE is proud to announce the one-night-only concert "An Evening with Molori" starring Chelsea Council, better known as Molori.


This concert, held at the gorgeous Virginia Somerville Sutton Theatre at Well·Spring will feature 5 original Molori songs and 3 covers of classic Broadway showstoppers from musicals such as Dreamgirls and Anastasia.


Molori will be backed up by an all-star band of Justin Montengo (Keys,) Ethan Mayon [Ketamine Pidgeon] (Drums,) Uno Dos Santos [Ketamine Pidgeon] (Guitar,) Lynn Jarrett (Bass) and more.


The concert is produced by Jacob Gers (Ghostlight Studios) and Chelsea Council (Molori Creative) and it will be captured for a live concert proshot. Production stills will be captured by Brandt Conklin Creative

October 17, 2022 at 12:00 PMGhostlight Studios Announces New Film and Partnership with Hot Batteries Productions

GREENSBORO, NC - Ghostlight Studios will be partnering with Hot Batteries Productions after the critical and commercial successes of their summer releases, Hopscotch and Biggest Fan respectively. The current project is a new comedy short called The Case of the Parking Lot Murderer.


The Case of the Parking Lot Murderer tells the story of a group of anxious teens who find themselves sitting in a near empty parking lot after seeing a late night slasher film and begin to suspect that the inhabitants of another car in the lot are plotting to murder them. Tensions come to a head as they try to decipher paranoia from reality. 


The production team features Jaiden Douglas as the writer, director, and co-editor with Seannie Cahil-Swenson as the Assistant Director and co-editor. The film will feature an original score by Triad-based composer Gage Winslow. Parking Lot stars Avery Rosenbluth as Jeff, Seannie Cahil-Swenson as Liam, Trudy Campbell as Larry, and Garrett Linn as Gob. Marketing, Distribution, and Management is provided by Ghostlight Studios. The project is executive produced by Ghostlight Studios and Hot Batteries Productions.

 After the critical and commercial success of its last film, Remember, Ghostlight Studios is bringing back the award-winning duo of Willow Lindsay and Jacob Gers for Ghostlight’s next film, Hopscotch.


Hopscotch is the story of two teenagers leaving their hometown for the first time. They reflect on their childhoods, teenage love, heartbreak, and life on the precipice of the next chapter of their lives. They contemplate the ways they have or have not changed and most importantly, understand what they love about their town and each other before they depart.


The project will be helmed from the creative side by Willow Lindsay (Remember) as the

Writer/Director and on the production side by Jacob Gers (Remember, Heart of the Woods, Talk of Peace) as the Executive Producer and Studio Head. Hopscotch stars Emily Witherspoon, Gavin Tabler, Laney Kaley, Corinna Dillon, Maddy Tuggle, Max Thompson, and Elan Johnson. Venus Nixon will serve as the cinematographer and Mayanna Johnson as the 1st AD. Lindsay will design properties & costumes, and Gers will serve in an advisory capacity to the technical aspects. More personnel may be announced going forward.


Hopscotch is slated to begin principal photography in August to release for free via the official YouTube channel of Ghostlight Studios on September 2, 2022.

Ghostlight Studios is excited to announce its debut into live theatre! The studio will be contributing to two projects in May 2022 in technical capacities.


Ghostlight Studios joins the long-awaited production of Dreamgirls presented by Community Theatre of Greensboro. Our Artistic Director Jacob Gers will serve as the lighting and sound (LX/SQ) designer and videographer. Tickets are available at ctgso.org/ctg_shows/dreamgirls. Performances begin on May 5, 2022, through May 15, 2022.


Ghostlight Studios is proud to have Jacob Gers serve as the technical director of Hannah Senesh: A Story of Courage. This production stars the sixth-grade religious school students of Temple Emanuel. The story recounts the life and poetry of Hungarian-Palestinian poet Hannah Senesh. This play was adapted by local artist Dr. Karen Dresser.


Ghostlight Studios is dedicated to providing hands-on opportunities to teens in the entertainment industry through professional bookings and original productions.
